The Solguard Temporary Roof Edge Protection System has been specifically designed for use during solar installation on metal roofs. Solguard is the only certified on-roof handrail system that can maintain engineering integrity throughout the complete installation of mounting rail and PV solar panels, whether installed in a ‘portrait’ or ‘landscape’ configuration. When installing up the barge line or gable, our ‘Barge Boot’ is low profile and compact enough to allow unobstructed solar installation. Once Solguard is in place, installers can work free of a harness with complete peace of mind. When combined with the Hidden Tile system, installers will have a convenient method of providing roof guardrail for both metal and tile roof solar panel installation jobs. Solguard is suitable for both residential and commercial projects.
