EWRG’s Side Bracket edge protection system is preferred by many of our Customers for its ease of use. The design is a simplified variation of a wall-mounted bracket, perfect for a range of applications including re-roofing, new roof installations, retaining walls or stairwells. The Side Bracket provides 160mm of horizontal clearance from the roof edge or wall and can be used upside down to allow clearance for gutters. It is also engineered to be bolted-on or screwed to steel fascia and barge purlins, or timber for use as first floor edge protection.

The Side Bracket is really just a simplified version of the Bolt-on. It’s faster to install and a bit more cost effective if purchasing (as it’s a single bracket rather than two-pieces). The only thing to keep in mind if considering the Side Bracket System is that the span from wall/roof edge to your post/upright is set at a 160mm. If you don’t need any more horizontal clearance than that, this system is a great option.
Temporary roof edge protection systems are priced in lineal metres. Rates for dry hire and purchase vary based on the location, type of system, duration of hire and quantity.
